The methodology

THE METHODOLOGY OF A CASH FORECASTING PROJECT

Developed by the Consulting Division, our methodology is based on over 20 years of experience implementing cashflow management solutions. Understanding cash flows and operating flows involves a number of different stakeholders within the business; coordinating those actors and rallying them behind a team project, breaking down silos and unifying the information that each of them controls, is the core principle of our process.

FOUR STEPS FOR A CONTROLLED DEPLOYMENT TO ENSURE THE SUCCESS OF YOUR PROJECT

DIAGNOSIS

We start by evaluating your environment to determine how to best integrate our solutions in terms of scope and organisation, based on the following points:
– the availability of source management data
– how those data can be used to generate the desired output data
– modelling complexity
– needs related to establishing an upstream data input process
– application configuration needs
– user training needs.

This stage concludes with the preparation of a clear and complete diagnostic report, with a detailed project schedule and a distribution of tasks between the ACA team and the customer team. The goal is to identify and select the most appropriate approach for your objectives and your needs.
Our business finance expertise saves you time in the process of defining your needs. You can visualise the available options and make an informed choice, supported by the best processes and best business practices.

PILOT PROJECT

Creating a project team, rallying stakeholders and establishing a restricted scope.
Implementing a pilot project lets you test the deployment of the solution on a small scale, in particular as regards the workload that will be needed to upgrade the source information. The pilot project is also an opportunity to train superusers, whose role is to help guide the deployment and to play a key role once the reporting process has been established.

The project phase has 5 objectives:
– customising the solution to fit with your structure;
– organising the process of supplying the application with management data;
– operational deployment;
– transferring skills to your teams;
– establishing an industrialised reporting and analysis production process.

DEPLOYMENT

Duplication and (if necessary) adaptation of settings for the other entities in your corporation.
All users are trained in this stage. The deployment can be carried out with or without help from ACA consultants, depending on what was previously determined at the Diagnosis stage.

PRODUCTION ROLL-OUT

Accompanying superusers through one or more forecasting campaigns.
The deployment of a CashSolve solution is not complete until all users are able to work autonomously to produce and analyse reports with it. To achieve this, the CashSolve team can accompany the customer through one or more forecasting campaigns.
